Weapons

The 5 main weapons.

Main weapons are melee, no resource cost. You equip one at a time; each has two shop upgrades. Three are starting picks, two are found mid-game.

Nightstar

Flail / whip

A mace on a flexible chain — the most Castlevania-like option. Reliable medium-range damage with a quick recovery.

Range: Medium Speed: Medium Starting pick (one of three)

Best for: All-rounder and the friendliest starter: deal steady damage while keeping your distance.

Upgrades: Reach and damage scaling via two shop upgrades

Whisper and Vesper

Dual daggers

A pair of fast blades with rapid thrusts. Lowest base damage and shortest reach, but blistering attack speed.

Range: Short Speed: Fast Starting pick (one of three)

Best for: Aggressive, high-mobility, in-your-face play. The Lunging Cut upgrade adds an airborne bounce-chase.

Upgrades: Lunging Cut — airborne bounce to chase enemies

Blaststrike Maul

Explosive hammer

A heavy hammer. High single-hit damage; hold to charge a devastating slam, though the charge can be interrupted.

Range: Short Speed: Slow Starting pick (one of three)

Best for: High-risk, high-reward play and beefy enemies. The Boom Charge upgrade adds a charged explosion.

Upgrades: Boom Charge — charged explosive slam

Battery Buster

Battery Buster

Hybrid blaster / bat

A hybrid: fires ranged shots while it has charge, then becomes a heavy melee bat when ammo runs out. Threatens at every range.

Range: Long (ammo) / Short (melee) Speed: Medium Found mid-game (not a starting pick)

Best for: Flexible fights that need ranged pressure. The Burst Shot upgrade adds a charged long-range blast.

Upgrades: Burst Shot — charged ranged blast

Guardian Casket

Guardian Casket

Shield / parry weapon

A defensive shield that blocks attacks and projectiles. A precise parry negates damage and answers with a counter and knockback.

Range: Short Speed: Medium Found mid-game (not a starting pick)

Best for: Defensive / counter play. Grave Counter strengthens perfect parries; Coffin Toss throws it at range.

Upgrades: Grave Counter — stronger perfect parry · Coffin Toss — ranged throw
